Kiliwarrior Expeditions is a top quality organization with exceptionally caring staff that made the difference between my husband and I being able to summit or not summit. We are older than most climbers and the high ratio of staff to climbers provided us with very individualized attention. Our meals were prepared by an exceptional chef and whereas other firms provided their clients with boxed lunches on the go, we sat down in our mess tent for lunch daily and were served home-made soup and hot entrees each day, which fueled our remainder of our climb for the day. I can’t say enough about the caring and competence of our guides: Shedrack and Gilbert. They made our trip so meaningful and carefully assessed us each day and made adjustments with porter support to ensure that we could safely navigate the mountain and manage the descent after a very long summit day. I would recommend Kiliwarrior Expedition to anyone who is considering climbing Kilimanjaro or going on a safari afterwards. We used them for a 3 day safari experience after our climb and our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and shared good insights with us on animal behaviour, the local geography of the national parks that we were in, and tribal culture.
