Climbing Kilimanjaro with my 14yr old son was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Wilbert and his team looked after us so well we could not ask for more. They are the best outfitters on the mountain; there were many hikers trekking with other companies who had trek envy when they saw the standard of equipment and food we where treated to. My 14 yr old son had many conversations with his guide who taught him to view many things in life differently.
I sadly had to be taken down at 4900 metres and left my son with the team to summit. This shows the respect and trust I had for them.
If you are thinking of climbing go with Kiliwarrior expeditions, do the western breach route as you will be on the mountain longer and have a much higher chance of success.
