The entire Kiliwarrior team was extraordinary. Every porter greeted us with a smile despite carrying incredibly bulky and heavy loads up the mountain. Our cook, Adam, provided delicious fresh and gourmet meals for us at impossible locations every day. He even surprised my wife with a birthday cake and bubbly juice at the camp at 4900m elevation!!! Playing cards or exploring the camps with different team members allowed us to pass the time acclimatizing in a pleasant way. The work ethic, kindness, and positive attitude of each member of the team was truly inspiring, and everyone positively contributed to our unforgettable adventure.
Kiliwarrior Expeditions went above and beyond to ensure that our family was provided for. Every day when we arrived at camp, our tents were set up for us, with a mattress and real pillow! Every night, we were welcomed with hot water bottles tucked into our sleeping bags. Every morning, the team brought us warm water to wash before starting the day, and every evening another bowl of hot water was waiting so we could clean up after spending the day exploring and on the trail. The portable toilet that Boaz managed provided another luxury that we deeply appreciated. On the mountain, every act of comfort makes an enormous difference.
